We currently can undo our whole action phase. But sometimes, we just want to undo our previous action. It could be nice to have maybe 2 undo buttons. 1 to undo our previous action only and a second to undo our whole action phase.

omg absolutely! Like others have said ark nova does this nicely. would be really helpful here to!! Redoing a whole move when you only made a small mistake at the end is quite annoying and can make moves really time consuming.

In solo play undo would only undo the action you were in the middle of. Now it undoes back to the start of the generation! It is incredibly frustrating and if it continues will likely result in me no longer playing.

I just wanted to say that this beta option is working really well, at least in the solo game, and I love it!

Yeah, one time I was careless and pressed undo and passed, forfeiting the rest of my turn. The intuitive idea of "undo" in literally every other context is to undo the last action. When I Ctrl-Z in a word processor, I undo the last few keystrokes, not everything I've done since I last saved. If I need to undo more, I undo multiple times.

I often use multi-step undo. It works fine, although it does make a mess of the game log.
