The rule book states that the maximum number of cards that one can hold is 8. But players were able to hold more than 8 after placing one flower card onto the table.• ¿La infracción de las reglas es visible en la repetición de la partida? Si es así, ¿en qué jugada?

It's in the rules: if you don't get any tile on a Flower you get your cards back and then have more than 8 cards. I think it what happened. aren't you in this case?
