I'm sorry, I have no idea how I managed to do this. I just wanted to activate my resources card, so I clicked on the card, then on Activate, then right at the moment I was clicking the confirmation for this I noticed how the green tick of the top most resources card was highlighted in yellow as if I was about to activate that card.
It can be seen in the replay that actually nothing changed between move #73 and move #74. I could then only activate 1 more card. -

end game was triggered because I had the machines card that let me win with only 2 secured idols. I discarded all treasure cards when activating that exact machines card ;)

I tried to reproduce it, but didn't manage to do so yet. I will try to reproduce it in the next few days. You said you couldn't see it in the replay, but I guess that is the point: I did an activation, which can be seen in the log, but nothing actually happened visually (no number of symbols changed, no card changed from inactive to active). The game then showed me "You may activate another card", and I also was able to only activate 1 "more" card

1. click on any activatable card
2. click on any card that is already activated
3. click on "Activate"
4. click on "Confirm Activation"
