I was at the top floor after my teammate had already escaped. I knew from Crystal ball that the next event would be Freight Elevator: "Fall up one floor. Does not count as entering the tile". I tried to escape using this event but it didn't work. According to the rules, it should be possible to escape with this event. It even says it explicitly in the rule book: "If you are on the top floor, you immediately escape if the players are holding all the Loot".
