Its not a bug, its a feature. :-D
Your screen is too small to show the whole Craftingtable horizontally. So it flips it to fit on the screen. You can Zoom out your broswser-window (Strg, - ) to make everything smaller so it fits. Then all elements are a bit smaller, but maybe you like that more. :-)

While that trick works, I'd still recommend changing something there since users are most likely not gonna find it out. Also, when it comes to mobile, I can't seem to find a similar trick (the only way I have so far would be turning my phone every time I have to take a look at the Crafting table. I'm unsure if you're aware but some games include zoom in/out buttons for the whole board, it might be useful (especially if it's automatically used to make it fit horizontally) there.

See github.com/thoun/bga-zoom as an example of zoom management "library" for bga. From my experience as a developer, it's relatively easy to integrate
