I get this on multiple devices and on difference ISPs in different locations. Might be related to this as it started at the same time.

* on mobile running android chrome
* first time going to lobby worked fine
* after playing a game i hit the bga logo to return to main site. Then the crazy long loading happened (animated bga logo)
* i quit all aps and then started bga again which immediately brought me to main site without long loading
* repeated the same process 3x after playing another game and same moment when the long loading occurred
* it didn't happen like this 1 or 2 weeks ago (i actually never experienced it before, ever)

I have been seeing similar behavior requiring reloading.
There are also a lot of 404 load errors involving game_box75.png and similar URLs, but it seems those are being actively investigated. I am not sure how much of the slowness they may contribute.

After doing a bit of poking around, it seems that whenever there is a delay completing the page load (of the Play Now page) it occurs when there is a long pause (long in Internet terms, as in 12 to 15 seconds) after this resource is requested:
/halloffame/halloffame/getDailyTables.html?dojo.preventCache=1666131756963
To clarify, I don't mean that the assets that are loaded after getDailyTables.html is requested take 12 to 15 seconds. Those assets are mainly the thumbnail png files for the games and each one loads on the order of 10ms to a couple hundred ms if read from disk cache, and on the order of microseconds if read from memory cache. I mean that there is a delay before the thumbnail assets are even requested. So even though the thumbnails may take 7 seconds to load, that is in addition to, not a part of, the delay before they are even requested.
For example, in the last waterfall I captured, getDailyTables.html was queued at 6.75 seconds after the page reload, but the first thumbnail asset (for Wingspan :D
x.boardgamearena.net/data/gamem ... =165165215) was not queued until 15.68 seconds after page reload. Although in that case it was "only" a 9 second delay between getDailyTables.html being requested and the thumbnails starting to load, in prior tests the first thumbnail asset wasn't queued until 12 to 15 seconds after getDailyTables.html is requested.
The takeaway is that when the page stalls it is not the loading of the thumbnail assets that is the major contributor to the delay.

i like to play several games , one after another. But i have to log off and log back on between each game because the page wont load between games. I have done the tests they offer and everything seems to check out fine. i use chrome, but i also tried firefox and explorer. i even changed internet providers ! I emptied my cache.. I dont know what else to try

This happens all the time. The loading of the lobby and even the welcome page are so long I have to set my device down or leave the page and come back. If I press refresh then it will load the whole screen and then start the loading all over...
If I do play again for the same game (where it doesn't load every game) it still takes an incredibly long time.
It made me consider not renewing my membership; but I love bga and the access to games.
It happens on every device and every type of internet wifi or data; everywhere. Doesn't matter which game I play.
No images would help unless you want pictures of the cloud loading logo.
It's been happening for a long time now

There are a number of problems making the lobby extremely slow. Huge wait times can occur at various points, including:
"performing a TLS handshake" - possibly poor server settings?
"connect.facebook.net" - unnecessary external site access
"google.com" - unnecessary external site access
On top of that, the CPU usage is extreme. (Firefox often complains that that tab is slowing everything down and asks to kill it.) This compounds the other problems. Just waiting for the DNS lookup for connect.facebook.net can take many seconds, when it doesn't need to be accessed at all.

I just waited many mins for any BGA screen to load. When one didn't work on my tablet, I opened my laptop; both took forever to load. I tried the lobby, the welcome screen and the table screen... When it finally loaded instead of going to play a game I came here.
Looks like this has been a problem since early September and it's nearly February. That's nearly half a year friends. PLEASE please please fix this.

That's happens to all platform I use (Windows, Android).
Perhaps BGA needs to change servers to faster ones.

How about the devs at BGA give us a status on this issue ? For me, it all started when the new interface was released. Can you acknowledge there is an issue? At least pay attention to the people reporting the issue ? You just increased the prices for the premium subscription... I am not likely to renew mine unless this gets fixed.
Thanks for the great games, but please do something to fix this very annoying loading time !

It started just a few weeks ago, I thought it was because of my ISP, yelled at them, have them checked my network, and even sent someone to check my hardwares, but the problem persists, only to BGA, the rest of my internet connections (and even crossout game which is notoriously known for bad network) are in excellent shape, high speed low drag.
No screenshot, just the cloud loading screen.

I have experienced this in both Firefox and Chrome, both fully updated. The "Play Now" page will rarely load. I eventually get an error message that the page is slowing down the browser. The only option is to Stop the load attempt. This is a circular action because clicking the Stop button causes the browser to attempt to reload the offending page.

Depuis plusieurs jours gros problèmes de connexion avec un message "serveur de jeux injoignable. Etes-vous connecté-e à internet?".
Ma connexion internet fonctionne parfaitement, j'ai testé 3 navigateurs mais toujours le même problème.
La page se charge extrêmement lentement et pas entièrement = possibilité de rejoindre des parties mais pas de créer des parties
J'ai été expulsé de plusieurs parties à cause de cela.
Since severals days big connection problems with a message "Unable to contact the server. Are you connected to the internet". My internet connection works perfectly, I tested 3 browsers but still the same problem.
The page loads extremely slowly and not completely = possibility to join games but not to create games
I got kicked out of multiple games because of this

Very frequently I can't access to the lobby page, it's been happening for months. I can create rooms in other pages, but the lobby page the prefered method for me. Waiting time is too long, sometimes more than 10 minutes, and sometimes doesn't even work. Very disappointing.

Today the same happened to me, I tried deleting the cache, and cookies from BGA, is doesn't work, I saw the the lobby goes slow if I don't collapse the game menus but I don't know how to solve it
