While I don't think is against the rules to buy something after you go down I do think it is generally not advantageous to buy a card. I think if you have a buy list set, after you go down it turns off to avoid inadvertent buys.

And I like the idea of a more permanent "You bought X", just not sure how to show it.
Yes, the wishlist turns off automatically after you buy. Since the wishlist is primarily meant for players who play turn-based, they often close their browser or surf to other sites between card plays. Any suggestions on how to indicate to the player they bought something given they may have closed their browser? How about some indicator box which shows the most-recent card bought? I like the idea, just not sure how to implement it.
