There seems to be a major issue with this specific game implementation.
It regularly gets stuck at "sending move to server" for some time. Sometimes it works fine, but often not.
It can make the game unplayable. In a realtime game, I am often lucky not to be expelled from the game due to having found opponents who are more interested in completing the game than scoring points. But the delays cause me to run out of time and incur a penalty, which is not nice when it's BGA's fault.
I have no idea why it stalls at the "sending move to server" stage - surely there is not much data to send. Other players have reported the same problem being much worse: when they submit their move, their screen is full of multiple "are you still connected to the internet" (they are) messags, such that they can't even see the board for their 2nd card choice. Very poor UX.
We've stopped playing it due to the multifarious issues encountered.

The website interface is unfathomably poor. It got worse since the recent redesign. Why are BGA redesigning the website interface instead of fixing bugs? The redesign will not fix any of those bugs.

Had to stop playing Ticket to Ride because it regularly gets stuck at 'sending move to server' despite no problem with internet connection. Never have this with Catan or How to Build Your Perfect Home. Perhaps it's because I want to hold 20+ train cards in my hand at a time? Very frustrating.

This has happened a few time already, and only happens with TTR. My internet connection is good and stable but the platform does not allow me to perform any movement. This time I was not even in the game, when I pressed "play" again to find a table the "you are in another game" banner appeared, how was I in a game that never started?

I've frantically tried a number of things to keep from being expelled due to BGA's server issues freezing on my end. I've even tried to use auto chat response that I had emergency and need more time, conceding, etc. ŵhen play starts to freeze. I admit I have a history of using extra time, but I've been expelled from TTR 3 times in 2 days due to problems on BGA's end. I guess it's time to cancel premium.

Bei jeder Aktion wird der Zugang zum Internet unterbrochen, kann die Seite so nicht nutzen. Versuche es in ein paar Wochen nochmal. Sehr ärgerlich, weil bezahlt!
