Player A accepted the offer (or made an acceptable counter offer) and this appeared in the box below my offer. As I went to click accept, Player B made a counter offer that was unacceptable. This appeared in the box below my offer, shifting Player B's offer into the box to the right of my offer. My click then accepted the unacceptable offer.

This made no difference to the result for me (I do not know if it affected Player B) so I did not press for a return of the offer.

However, there may also be games where several opponents accept an offer and because of the sequence of appearance someone ends up accepting the wrong one and losing the game.
