I don't mind if online status and friends list are hidden from others but I would like to have access to games history.
Is there anything we (players who are interested in keeping games history accessible) can do?

I regularly review old games of (usually) high rated players. This is an old habit from playing chess. Review the games of potential opponents and also the games of top players.

There is an open suggestion for privacy that asks for hiding friends lists, online status, and games history. See it here: /bug?id=17208 . While I don't care much about the first 2 either way, I feel that hiding games history would be horrible. If I'm trying to learn a difficult, new game I often like to review some games. If I'm trying to improve in a game, I like to review games of top players. What do you think?

ypaul It's a free site so it's probably hard to get licensed games on there, but their Discord is quite active and there are lots of people who are keen on implementing new games all the time. If you have any particular requests for games that are in public domain or have the author's blessing or are just old, there's a good chance we'll be able to see it there at some point.
