Long before cities, castles, and complicated tax systems, there were giant creatures living in untamed lands. In First Giants, you are a paleontologist collecting the most beautiful fossils to display at your museum. Choose which specimens to study. Every fossil brings its own unique ability to the table. Slowly, your collection starts to take shape, and you’ll probably grow a little attached to your favorite discoveries along the way. But eventually, the museum wants results.
To score points, you’ll need to put your fossils on display. Sounds great… until you realize that once they’re exhibited, their special abilities are lost for good. Every decision becomes tricky. Do you proudly showcase that powerful fossil now, or keep it in your lab a few more turns to squeeze every last benefit out of it? Push your luck for too long, however, and another player might beat you to important scoring opportunities.
On your turn, place a marker at a dig site and apply the card’s effect. You can also reclaim a marker to gain amber or display a fossil by spending amber and score points when you expand your fossil set. The game ends when a player takes the last Set token from the supply or when the deck is empty after a player refills a Dig Site.

First Giants: ¡Los fósiles son impresionantes!
Mucho antes de las ciudades, los castillos y los complejos sistemas tributarios, existían criaturas gigantes que habitaban tierras indómitas. En First Giants, eres un paleontólogo que colecciona los fósiles más bellos para exhibirlos en tu museo. Elige qué especímenes estudiar. Cada fósil posee una habilidad única. Poco a poco, tu colección irá tomando forma y seguramente te encariñarás con tus descubrimientos favoritos. Pero, finalmente, el museo exige resultados.
Para puntuar, tienes que exhibir tus fósiles. Suena bien... hasta que te das cuenta que una vez que están en exhibición, sus habilidades especiales se pierden para siempre. Cada decisión se vuelve difícil. ¿Prefieres mostrar ese poderoso fósil ahora orgullosamente o guardarlo en el laboratorio unos turnos más para exprimirle todo el beneficio posible? Arriesga tu suerte un turno de más y otro jugador puede ganarte de mano en las oportunidades de hacer puntos.
En tu turno, coloca una ficha en un yacimiento y aplica el efecto de la carta. También puedes recuperar una ficha para obtener ámbar o mostrar un fósil gastando ámbar y ganar puntos ampliando tu colección de fósiles. La partida termina cuando un jugador toma la última ficha de la reserva o cuando el mazo se vacía después de que un jugador reabastezca un yacimiento.
