Let’s be honest: hearing about “cooperative poker” made you a little skeptical. The two words don't exactly belong together. Poker is about reading people, bluffing, and outsmarting everyone, not helping them. But The Gang pulls it off in a way that feels fresh without losing what makes poker fun.
You and your crew are professional thieves orchestrating a series of heists. To crack the vaults, you'll need to play Texas Hold 'em together. Win three heists before tripping three alarms, and the loot is yours.
Each heist follows the familiar poker structure: you get two pocket cards, then community cards are revealed round by round (the Flop, Turn, and River). But instead of betting, you're grabbing chips. Each one represents how strong you think your hand is relative to everyone else's. Take the highest-star chip? You're saying you've got the best hand at the table. Grab the 1-star? You're calling yourself the weakest link.
The first rule of The Gang is: you do not talk about your cards. No hints, no winks, no "hypothetical" questions. The chips are your only language. After four rounds, everyone reveals their hands in chip order, and if the hands come out weakest to strongest without a single mistake, the vault opens. One slip, and the alarm goes off.
Whether you're a poker shark or someone who just learned what a flush is, this game will have you silently losing your mind as your teammate confidently grabs the wrong chip. Ready to pull off the perfect heist?

The Gang: Un póker cooperativo donde no se habla de las cartas
Seamos sinceros: oír hablar de «póker cooperativo» probablemente te haya generado cierto escepticismo. Es un oxímoron, dos palabras que no encajan especialmente bien juntas. El póker va de leer a los demás, farolear y superar al resto, no de ayudarles. Pero The Gang lo logra de una forma que resulta novedoso sin perder lo que hace divertido al póker.
Tú y tu equipo sois ladrones profesionales que orquestáis una serie de atracos. Para abrir las cajas fuertes, tendréis que jugar al Texas Hold'em en equipo. Ganad tres atracos antes de activar tres alarmas, y el botín será vuestro.
Cada atraco sigue la estructura familiar del póker: recibes dos cartas ocultas, y después se van revelando las cartas comunitarias ronda a ronda (el Flop, el Turn y el River). Pero en lugar de apostar, estás cogiendo fichas. Cada una representa lo fuerte que crees que es tu mano en comparación con la de los demás. ¿Coges la ficha de mayor número de estrellas? Estás diciendo que tienes la mejor mano de la mesa. ¿Coges la de una estrella? Estás diciendo que tienes la peor mano de la mesa.
La primera regla de The Gang es: no hables de tus cartas. Nada de pistas, nada de guiños, nada de preguntas «hipotéticas». Las fichas son tu único lenguaje. Tras cuatro rondas, todos revelan sus manos por orden de fichas, y si las manos salen de la más débil a la más fuerte sin un solo error, la caja fuerte se abre. Un solo fallo, y la alarma salta.
Tanto si eres un hacha jugando al póker como si acabas de aprender qué es un color, este juego te hará perder la cabeza en silencio mientras tu compañero coge con total seguridad la ficha equivocada. ¿Listo para llevar a cabo el atraco perfecto?
