The second title in the Quartermaster General "Front" series, a two-player strategy game, that can also be played solo, brings the Mediterranean theater of World War II to life.
Set between Summer 1940 and Spring 1944, Quartermaster General: South Front depicts the intense struggle for control over Southern Europe, North Africa, and the Mediterranean. The Axis player controls Germany, Italy, and their allies, while the Allied player leads the United Kingdom, the United States, and Free France.
If you’re already familiar with Quartermaster General: East Front, you’ll be pleased to find that none of the rules have changed, and the new additional rules will feel familiar. One key difference is that you have only one action per turn, making this game quicker. And the biggest change is the addition of a full fledge naval game.
The game is won by accumulating Victory Points, most of which will be awarded for controlling geographical objectives during the four annual scoring rounds. Strategic naval dominance and careful resource management are key to victory in this immersive and dynamic addition to the Quartermaster General Front series.

El segundo título de la serie Quartermaster General «Frente», un juego de estrategia para dos jugadores que también se puede jugar en solitario, da vida al teatro de operaciones del Mediterráneo de la Segunda Guerra Mundial.
Ambientado entre el verano de 1940 y la primavera de 1944, Quartermaster General: Frente Sur describe la intensa lucha por el control del sur de Europa, el norte de África y el Mediterráneo. El jugador del Eje controla Alemania, Italia y sus aliados, mientras que el jugador aliado lidera el Reino Unido, Estados Unidos y la Francia Libre.
Si ya conoces Quartermaster General: Frente Este, te alegrará saber que ninguna de las reglas ha cambiado y las nuevas reglas adicionales te resultarán familiares. Una diferencia clave es que solo tienes una acción por turno, lo que hace que el juego sea más rápido. Y el cambio más importante es la incorporación de un juego naval completo.
La partida se gana acumulando puntos de victoria, la mayoría de los cuales se otorgan por controlar objetivos geográficos durante las cuatro rondas de puntuación anuales.
