As a struggling artist, your stomach may be empty, but your head is overflowing with ambition. You have rejected the monotony of mainstream society to chase the sublime. Your journey is defined by your routine, a fragile collection of habits that either push you toward greatness or trap you in cycles of misery. The game is played over three phases: the Wake Up Phase, where you plan your daily routine by playing Habit and Muse cards; the Day Phase, where you narrate your story, count your earned Inspiration, and spend it to acquire new cards or gain one of the coveted Achievement cards; and the Sleep Phase, where BGA does things nobody else wants to do…
You got it right: Bohemians is a card game. Each card you play is a hearbeat, a moment of inspiration captured on canvas, stage, or page, while every hardship you endure serves as a poignant reminder of the cost of your artistic freedom.
This is also a game about transformation, where inspiration is your currency, and if not spent immediately, it is stored in the Atelier, a sanctuary where you spend it to trigger powerful effects. Your goal is to become the most famous artist of your time by earning five Achievement cards. Each one represents the peak of your hard work and shows how you overcame your struggles.
Gather your courage, perfect your craft, and leave your true legacy. Will you find fame, or will you be forgotten by history?

París, a principios del siglo XX. Eres un artista que deambula por las calles, esforzándose por crear obras maestras, embarcándose en escapadas románticas, buscando inspiración y tratando de mantener a raya la miseria. ¡Bienvenido a la vida de un bohemio!
Como artista en apuros, puede que tengas el estómago vacío, pero la cabeza rebosa de ambición. Has rechazado la monotonía de la sociedad convencional para perseguir lo sublime. Tu camino está definido por tu rutina, una frágil colección de hábitos que te impulsan hacia la grandeza o te atrapan en ciclos de miseria. El juego se desarrolla en tres fases: la fase de despertar, donde planificas tu rutina diaria jugando cartas de Hábito y Musa; la fase diurna, donde narras tu historia, cuentas la Inspiración que has ganado y la gastas para adquirir nuevas cartas u obtener una de las codiciadas cartas de Logro; y la fase de dormir, donde BGA hace cosas que nadie más quiere hacer…
Lo has adivinado: Bohemians es un juego de cartas. Cada carta que juegas representa un latido, un momento de inspiración plasmado en un lienzo, un escenario o una página, mientras que cada dificultad que afrontas te recuerda el precio de tu libertad artística.
Este también es un juego sobre la transformación, donde la inspiración es tu moneda, y si no se gasta de inmediato, se almacena en el atelier, un santuario donde lo gastas para activar poderosos efectos.
