The Trojan War is over. Time to go home and enjoy a well-deserved break. Simple enough, right?
Well, not if you're Odysseus, the trouble magnet. The journey home to Ithaca takes another ten years. Along the way, there's a Cyclops with a cheese issue, sirens with questionable intentions, a powerful sorceress, monsters who really need to discover personal space, and gods who apparently have nothing better to do than ruin his day.
In Odysseus, you'll help the legendary hero navigate the perils of his epic journey across the Mediterranean. Your mission? Develop your skills, overcome trials, collect Tales, and turn a very rough trip into a legendary adventure. Strength, Intelligence, Cunning, Luck. You'll need to master all four to give Odysseus a fighting chance.
On your turn, choose a Trial card and decide whether to embark on an adventure or take a well-earned rest. Adventures help you develop your skills and build your collection of trials, while resting gives you a chance to strengthen a skill of your choice and gain Athena's Favor.
At the end of the game, you only score the points from trials you've successfully overcome. So, do you build up your strengths, shore up your weaknesses, or take a gamble on the cards available? Every choice matters, and the best plan today might not survive tomorrow.
And don't underestimate Athena's Favor. A little help from the goddess of wisdom can be just what you need to turn a decent plan into a great one.
Ready to set sail? Make sure you do before you start helping Odysseus find his way home. Just don't expect Poseidon to make it easy. He's got a reputation to maintain.

Odysseus: La guerra ha terminado, pero el viaje acaba de empezar
La guerra de Troya ha terminado. Es hora de volver a casa y disfrutar de un merecido descanso. Bastante sencillo, ¿verdad?
Bueno, no si eres Odiseo, el imán de los problemas. El viaje de regreso a Ítaca dura otros diez años. En el camino, te encuentras con un cíclope obsesionado con el queso, sirenas con intenciones dudosas, una poderosa hechicera, monstruos que necesitan urgentemente aprender a respetar el espacio personal y dioses que, al parecer, no tienen nada mejor que hacer que arruinarte el día.
En Odysseus, ayudarás al legendario héroe a sortear los peligros de su épico viaje por el Mediterráneo. ¿Tu misión? Desarrolla tus habilidades, supera desafíos, recopila relatos y convierte un viaje arduo en una aventura legendaria. Fuerza, inteligencia, astucia, suerte. Deberás dominar las cuatro para darle a Odiseo una oportunidad de sobrevivir.
En tu turno, elige una carta de prueba y decide si emprender una aventura o tomar un merecido descanso. Las aventuras te ayudan a desarrollar tus habilidades y a acumular pruebas, mientras que descansar te da la oportunidad de fortalecer una habilidad de tu elección y ganarte el favor de Atenea.
Al final de la partida, solo obtienes los puntos de las pruebas que has superado con éxito. Así que, ¿potenciarás tus fortalezas, mejoras tus debilidades o te arriesgas con las cartas disponibles? Cada decisión cuenta, y el mejor plan de hoy podría no ser suficiente mañana.
Y no subestimes el favor de Atenea. Un poco de ayuda de la diosa de la sabiduría puede ser justo lo que necesitas para convertir un buen plan en uno excelente.
¿Todo listo para zarpar? Asegúrate de hacerlo antes de empezar ayudando a Odiseo a encontrar el camino de regreso a casa. Pero no esperes que Poseidón te lo ponga fácil. Tiene una reputación que mantener.
