Making a huge gaming service available 24/24 hours, everyday of the year is not an easy task, especially when you consider that a "short" 5 minutes service interruption breaks almost all realtime games in progress ... Each time there is an incident on BGA, we try to be as transparent as possible, explaining you what happened and what we did to make sure this won't happened. We also cancel all "leaving game" penalties applied because of the incident. Recently, we decided to go one step further and give you a more detailed view of the status of the BGA server. This graph shows you, anytime, the number of moves played in the platform. We chose to use number of moves instead of something more "technical" because everyone knows what is a move, and because if the number of moves played on BGA is not decreasing, it means that (almost) all players on BGA can play, so it means that the service is normal (at normal speed). Tener disponible un enorme servicio de juego en línea 24/24 horas, todos los días del año no es una tarea fácil, especialmente si tenemos en cuenta que una interrupción del servicio de "solo" 5 minutos rompe casi todos los juegos que se juegan en tiempo real ...
Cada vez que hay un incidente en BGA, intentamos ser lo más transparentes posible, explicando lo sucedido y lo que hicimos para asegurarnos de que no sucediera.
También cancelamos todas las penalizaciones de "salir de juego" aplicadas en el incidente.
Recientemente, hemos decidido dar un paso más y daros una vista más detallada del estado del servidor BGA.
Este gráfico muestra, en cualquier momento, el número de movimientos jugados en la plataforma.
Elegimos utilizar el número de jugadas en lugar de algo más "técnico" porque todo el mundo sabe lo que es un movimiento, y porque si no disminuye el número de jugadas realizadas en BGA, significa que (casi) todos los jugadores en BGA pueden jugar, lo que significa que el servicio es normal (a velocidad normal).
