For the past 2 seasons, you have been able to enjoy the games in the format decided by players themselves, and this makes the Arena even more exciting! This season, more than 2.4 million Arena games have been played on BGA, which is an absolute record since the Arena exists!
But wait, what exactly is "the Arena?"
The Arena is the competitive mode on BGA. If you master a game and want to play it competitively, this is THE mode to use, so you can challenge the best players and get the most experience points.
The Arena is organized in seasons of 3 months each. Achievements are awarded to the best players at the end of each season.
To play in the Arena: select "Play" and then choose "Arena" instead of "Simple game."

We are very happy to see that this way of doing things contributed to making the Arena more popular: thank you to all gurus for their smart suggestions and their votes!
Rules updates
No Arena rules are changing this season. It does not mean we are 100% satisfied about how the Arena is running, but you seem to appreciate the current rules so we want to keep them as they are for now.
Cheating
Some (rare) case of cheating have been spotted in the previous season. You have to keep in mind that a player cheating the Arena is quite easy to spot, by admins, moderators, and even by simple players. Thus, it is impossible to heavily abuse the system without triggering warnings.
Our advise: please do not lose time trying to cheat the system: it will consume an incredible amount of your time, and at the end all your efforts will be ruined and your account will be removed.

Some Explanation About: Relegations
At the end of each season, after winners have been awarded, you are relegated.
Some custom relegation rules may have been applied to a game for some reason (ex: we decided to reduce the number of leagues), but in general here is what happens:

For games with 6 or 5 different leagues, all players are decreased by 3 leagues.

For games with 4 different leagues, all players are decreased by 2 leagues.

For games with 2 or 3 different leagues, all players are decreased by 1 league.

For all games and all leagues, your number of Arena points is reset to 1, and your AES ("Arena Elo") is reset to 1500.

Felicitaciones a todos los participantes y ganadores de la temporada anterior. Durante las últimas 2 temporadas, has podido disfrutar de los juegos en el formato decidido por los propios jugadores, ¡y esto hace que la Arena sea aún más emocionante! Esta temporada, se han jugado más de 2,4 millones de juegos de Arena en BGA, ¡lo cual es un récord absoluto desde que existe Arena!
Pero espera, ¿qué es exactamente "la Arena"?
La Arena es el modo competitivo en BGA. Si dominas un juego y quieres jugarlo de manera competitiva, éste es EL modo que debes usar, para que puedas desafiar a los mejores jugadores y obtener la mayor cantidad de puntos de experiencia.
La Arena se organiza en temporadas de 3 meses cada una. Los logros se otorgan a los mejores jugadores al final de cada temporada.
Para jugar en la Arena: selecciona "Jugar" y luego elije "Arena" en lugar de "Juego simple".

Actualizaciones de reglas
Ninguna regla de Arena cambiará esta temporada. No significa que estemos 100% satisfechos con el funcionamiento de la Arena, pero parece que apreciáis las reglas actuales, por lo que queremos mantenerlas como están por ahora.
Tramposos
Se han detectado algunos (raros) casos de trampa en la temporada anterior. Debes tener en cuenta que un jugador que hace trampa en la Arena es bastante fácil de detectar, por administradores, moderadores e incluso por jugadores simples. Por lo tanto, es imposible abusar mucho del sistema sin activar advertencias.
Nuestro consejo: no pierdas el tiempo tratando de engañar al sistema: consumirá una cantidad increíble de tu tiempo y al final todos tus esfuerzos se arruinarán y tu cuenta será eliminada.

Algunas explicaciones sobre: descensos
Al final de cada temporada, después de que se hayan premiado los ganadores, descenderás.
Es posible que se hayan aplicado algunas reglas de descenso personalizadas a un juego por algún motivo (p. ej., decidimos reducir el número de ligas), pero en general esto es lo que sucede:
- Para juegos con 6 o 5 ligas diferentes, todos los jugadores se reducen en 3 ligas.
- Para juegos con 4 ligas diferentes, todos los jugadores se reducen en 2 ligas.
- Para juegos con 2 o 3 ligas diferentes, todos los jugadores se reducen en 1 liga.
- Para todos los juegos y todas las ligas, su número de puntos Arena se restablece a 1 y su AES ("Arena Elo") se restablece a 1500.
