Keep in mind that there are 3 main ways to earn points:

• Light: You'll score this every round, so place your trees in a way that you can earn points on this round and future ones as well.
• Forest: Try connecting your trees, maybe a tree placement doesn't make much sense for light purposes but it does to connect two big pieces of forests.
• Fertility (end of game): Pay attention to the cards from previous turns and your opponents' forests, as this may make a difference when choosing cards.
